Born on July 1, 1977, Jessica Meir is an American/Swedish astronaut, marine biologist and physiologist who, along with Cristina Koch, were the first women to participate in an all-female spacewalk (October 18, 2019).
She had previously served as the Assistant Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital and done post-doctorial research at University of British Columbia.
